Warehouse Specialist Customer Service - DLA Guam
As directed, The Warehouse Specialist performs a variety of warehousing duties requiring an understanding of the establishment's storage plan. Work involves most of the following: Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages; routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials IAW prescribed storage methods; rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials; examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage; and removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment. May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties. Uses DSS and other Government Data Systems resolving common error conditions, responds to computer output instructions or error conditions, and following SOPs.
Requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable security investigation in order to be issued a Common Access Card
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Fluency in English and be able to communicate effectively to include speaking and writing in English
- Ability to be present at work each day and work the hours of the assigned shift
