WOLF - Senior General and Operations Manager

Job Summary

The General and Operations Manager will plan, direct, or coordinate the operations of public or private sector organizations, overseeing multiple departments or locations. Duties and responsibilities include formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources, but are too diverse and general in nature to be classified in any one functional area of management or administration, such as personnel, purchasing, or administrative services. Usually manage through subordinate supervisors. (BLS SOC 11-1021)

Essential Functions:

• Must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position and PWS
• Analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions
• Plan and organize work
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Knowledge of laws, policies, regulations, and precedents applicable to logistics and supply chain planning and program execution/sustainment
• Understand the Acceptable Performance Levels (APL's) associated with assigned functional work areas/process and work expeditiously to meet contractual and team goals
• Provide support for projects that are fielded and in-service or that require operational or logistics support in:
  • Receiving, warehouse, and shipping efforts
  • Data asset management
  • IUID management support
  • Hazardous and controlled material management
  • DLADS
• Adhere to Government and Company policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Adhere to PTi quality, safety, and environmental standards

Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum of ten (10) years specialized experience of which five (5) must be in logistics or supply chain management
• Successful experience managing government contract projects

Skills:

• Attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills
• Expert communication and facilitation skills at all levels
• Ability to deliver complex support requirements in meeting PWS requirements on time and within budget
• Promote and maintain a high degree of morale and a harmonious working environment
• Meet all submission deadlines issued by the COR or Company Home Office
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications

Certificate, License, Registration, etc.:

• Must be U.S. Citizen
• Maintain Common Access Card (CAC)
• Maintain Secret security clearance
• Favorably adjudicated Tier-3 investigation from the OPM
• Maintain a valid Driver's License

Education

• Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or business disciplines; or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or business disciplines and four (4) years of additional work experience
