Transportation Supervisor - Fort Gordon

The Transportation Supervisor is responsible transportation of personal property and passenger travel. Prepares the necessary documentation, requests and coordinates transport capability to meet a movement mission, and operates automated data terminal equipment to prepare movement documentation or related correspondence. Arranges documentation and reports for follow-up or response to tracer actions. Prepares transportation movements documents and related forms for the type of shipment and mode of travel. Performs office duties such as posting regulations, files maintenance, and routine office correspondence. Provides supervision and technical guidance for subordinates. Researches, interprets, prepares, and coordinates actions pertaining to travel entitlement. Functions as the customs officer for shipment releases in overseas theaters. Operates as quality control noncommissioned officer for commercial movement contracts.  

Requirements:

• SECRET security clearance
• Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable security investigation in order to be issued a Common Access Card
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Fluency in English and be able to communicate effectively to include speaking and writing in English
• Ability to be present at work each day and work the hours of the assigned shift
