Supply Technician

Description: Must be skilled in GCSS-A operations for transactions, accountability and reporting purposes.  This position requires competence in system analysis and knowledge of work processes, applicable regulations, workload and practices of assigned mission. Must have the ability to determine and resolve data processing problems, coordinate the work for data reporting, determine and resolve data processing problems, orient user personnel on new or changed procedures, and bring to the attention of the supervisor any problems or controversies. Tasks include processing asset requisitions, receipts, inventory data, turn-in, and unique item tracking. Must be able to perform research to ensure accurate property accountability; verify internal controls to protect Government's interest and generate reports and documents as required.

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable security investigation in order to be issued a Common Access Card
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Fluency in English and be able to communicate effectively to include speaking and writing in English
• Ability to be present at work each day and work the hours of the assigned shift
