REQUIREMENTS/ SPECIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial Aerospace environment as a manager, warehousing, inventory management, and financial management.

Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.

Proven track record of successful government contracting experience

Must have excellent supervisory, presentation and communication skills

Must be able to work well with others

Ability to interact with all management and non-management levels within the Company

Ability to interact with all management and non-management levels within the Navy business confines.

Ability to convey ideas and work techniques through excellent oral and written skills

Possess Excellent organizational skills

TITLE:            Site Manager

REPORTS TO:    Program Manager

CONTROLS:       All the Company's Personnel Assigned to the FRCSE Contract

 

SUMMARY:  The Site Manager performs all local management actions associated with the Company employees.  These actions include but are not limited to: investigations and reports arising from any quality issues, verification of timesheets, and the introduction and initial indoctrination to new employees.  The Site Manager ensures that all the Company's personnel use procedures that comply with ISO 9001, AS9100 and ISO 14001 quality, aerospace, and environmental standards in performance of their duties.  The Site Manager shall restrict communications to only the COR and PCO on contractual issues related to this contract.

 

TASK DETAILS/ ORGANIZATIONAL CONTROLS/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directs all contractor activities at the assigned NAS Jacksonville site.
  • Works with the Site Coordinator to communicate policy to all co-workers to assure policies are implemented.
  • Coordinates and manages all assigned functions within the designated site to assure contract compliance and performance to the Navy and the NAS Jacksonville customer base, in accordance with the Company standards and expectations.
  • Performs management, organizational, business and technical leadership and services to ensure successful completion of tasks on a timely basis and within budget.
  • Assures that all personnel adhere to contract safety and quality procedures.
  • Reports all work-related injuries to the Company immediately.
  • Monitors facility and environmental compliance with local fire codes and all Government regulations.
  • Monitors and maintains the success, accuracy, current status and operational effectiveness of implemented plans, policies and operating procedures.
  • Initiates and maintains a good working relationship with the COR, PCO and the customer base.
  • Responds to customer complaints and inquiries in a prompt, courteous and effective manner.
  • Communicates with management on customer service topics and general feedback.
  • Maintains a professional image.
  • Recognizes and supports the Company's commitment to pride and quality work.
  • Assures the accurate and timely preparation, processing, distribution, and retention of all necessary reports and records regarding site operations.
  • Assures security systems are implemented and maintained at the facility.
  • Coordinates customer and the Company's loss prevention policies and resources.
  • Assists in maintaining the security of the government and the Company buildings and conducts all activities in a manner that promotes a safe environment.
  • Manage and oversee the overall operations during all shifts; make recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations; interact with customers to ensure that all requirements are being met.
  • Maintain and executes the Company's Quality Control Program (QCP).
