Senior Logistics Systems Analyst

Duties

The Senior Logistics Systems Analyst is responsible for providing operations and systems analyses expertise to support ongoing responsibilities delineated by the Weapon Systems Management Center (WSMC), accomplishing supporting tasks and adjusting to emerging requirements as well as variances in the scope of activities.

Responsibilities

Provide liaison between end-users and technical analysts regarding the analysis, design, and test management of information systems to ensure optimal operational performance

Develop decision support tools

Analyze the feasibility of and develop requirements for new systems and enhancements to existing systems, ensuring the system design fits the end-user's needs

Documents functional and business changes for system developers

Perform analysis and report WSMC's performance of providing products and services

Identify, analyze and recommend solutions for correcting system anomalies

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Information Technology or similar

3-5 years' experience as analyst working with DoD/Marine Corps Logistics Information Systems

Obtain and maintain Secret clearance. Will be subject to a background check.

Proficient with MICROSOFT OFFICE suite

Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely and with technical accuracy

Must be reliable, punctual, trustworthy and exceptionally conscientious

Must be team oriented and have the ability to positively interact with diverse groups of people to achieve common objectives

Understanding and knowledge of Marine Corps Logistics processes, functions and operations with emphasis on supply, warehousing, distribution and maintenance desired

Must have working knowledge of supporting Logistics Information Systems (LIS) to successfully perform the duties of the position. These systems are:
