Project Manager - Base Operations Support Services

The Project Manager (PM) will lead the PrimeTech International (PTi) team performing the Base Operations Support Services at Laughlin Air Force Base (LAFB), Texas. The PM provides overall management of the program for project cost, personnel, planning, scheduling, quality control, direction, contract management/administration, and coordination necessary to assure effective contract performance.  The PM will have full authority to act for the contractor on matters relating to the daily operation of the effort.

Requirements

  • Experience in management of DoD programs with emphasis being in the field of site support services.  
  • Experience dealing with both internal and external customers and be able to make presentations to all levels of command. 
  • Experience managing a team of multiple disciplined subcontractors is preferred.
  • Required to attend scheduled and unscheduled meetings. 
  • Provide program management oversite, updates and recommendations to ensure the customer's requirements are met and support the schedules while remaining within the budgetary constraints of the contract.
  • Interact with LAFB leadership to ensure that issues are addressed as they arise and corrective actions developed and put in place as soon as possible to prevent any operational delays.
  • Provide guidance and assistance, as required, to the PTi employees performing support services at LAFB.
  • Provide program management oversight, updates, recommendations and work force status during daily interfaces with the COR and LAFB management.
  • Develop and provide monthly analytical reports that communicate trends and impact assessment on plan vs actual.
  • Develop and prepare briefs as required to communicate execution progress and performance.
  • Monitor and develop corrective actions regarding personnel performance that fails to meet required levels.
  • Monitor and submit administrative paperwork related to the team (time-sheets, leave requests, any travel requirements, hiring, termination, corrective action plans, training (required and remedial) and any functions related to base access).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or similar
  • 10 years managing diverse contracts/teams a portion of which must have been within last 5 years.
  • Obtain and maintain Secret clearance. Applicant will be subject to a background check.
  • Experience working in and around military organizations
  • Proficient with MICROSOFT Office suite
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely and with technical accuracy
  • Must be reliable, punctual, trustworthy and exceptionally conscientious
  • Must be team oriented and have the ability to positively interact with diverse groups of people to achieve common objectives
