Passport and Visa Specialist

The Passport and Visa Specialist is responsible for performing administrative work to adjudicate applications for US passports and visas.

Qualifications: The Passport and Visa Specialist must have experience in reviewing and processing applications and knowledge of governing regulations, policies, procedures and instruction to include determining citizenship, review of applications for validity and knowledge of principles, systems and operations related to the issuance of passport and other citizenship registration, certificates and visas. The Passport and Visa Specialist is responsible for assisting applicants with completing foreign government documents in support of unique circumstances, special assignments and missions that are time sensitive and must possess the appropriate verbal and written communications skills to execute plans and to prepare reports, plans and working instructions.

Requirements:

• Security Clearance (secret)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable security investigation in order to be issued a Common Access Card
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Fluency in English and be able to communicate effectively to include speaking and writing in English
• Ability to be present at work each day and work the hours of the assigned shift
