Motor Pool Supervisor - Fort Gordon

The Motor Pool Supervisor is responsible for performing independently a variety of clerical work involving the administration and operation of the Transportation Motor Pool. Maintains current manuals, publications and directives pertinent to the administration and operation of the Transportation Motor Pool. Provides assistance and guidance in the application of governing policies and directives. Participates in the conduct of periodic inspections of the administrative and technical operations of the Transportation Motor Pool. Provides assistance to vehicle users in regards to schedule changes and cancellations. Coordinates with other sections of Transportation Motor Pool to include the Maintenance Shop and Dispatch Office for maximum utilization and cost effective operations of assigned vehicles. Maintains office general files, personnel records and other transportation documents involving the administration of motor vehicle operations. Performs typing duties to include correspondence, studies, personnel actions, and reports. Types from rough draft with responsibility for selecting appropriate format, making corrections in grammar, punctuation and spelling, checking and verifying references used, and for assembling any necessary enclosures to accompany finished correspondence.

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable security investigation in order to be issued a Common Access Card
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Fluency in English and be able to communicate effectively to include speaking and writing in English
• Ability to be present at work each day and work the hours of the assigned shift
