Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years' Logistical Support experience, serving as a team lead with emphasis on inventory management, storage management, and property utilization
• Minimum 5 years' experience in supply management, including budgeting, shipping/receiving, logistics, and PPP&M (Preservation, Packing, Packaging, and Marking)
• Proficient experience using Microsoft Office suite
• Possesses strong written and oral communication and strong problem-solving skills

Description: The Lead Shipping/Receiving Supervisor is responsible for overseeing packing and shipping operations under this effort. Must have team lead experience and an advanced understanding of shipping procedures and packing protocol. Someone in this position may direct and coordinate the preparation of finished products for shipment or storage by placing them in shipping containers, the specific operations performed being dependent upon the type, size, and number of units to be packed, the type of container employed, and method of shipment. Work requires the placing of items in shipping containers, and may involve one or more of the following: knowledge of various items of stock in order to verify content, selection of appropriate type and size of container, inserting enclosures in container; using excelsior or other material to prevent breakage or damage, closing and sealing container, and applying labels or entering identifying data on container.

Requirements:

• Security Clearance (Secret)
• Forklift certification (up to 36,000 lbs.)
• Valid commercial driver's license
• Business or Supply Management training or certification
• Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable security investigation in order to be issued a Common Access Card
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Fluency in English and be able to communicate effectively to include speaking and writing in English
• Ability to be present at work each day and work the hours of the assigned shift
