Freight Specialist Lead

The Freight Specialist Lead is responsible for freight operations to include inbound and outbound shipments and shipping of hazardous and sensitive materials in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT), Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and Army regulations.

Qualifications: The Freight Specialist must have at least five (5) years of supervisory experience and a comprehensive knowledge of governing policies and procedures of freight operations to include utilizing Global Freight Management (GFM) system and Cargo Movement Operations Systems (CMOS).

Requirements:

• Security Clearance (secret)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable security investigation in order to be issued a Common Access Card
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Fluency in English and be able to communicate effectively to include speaking and writing in English
• Ability to be present at work each day and work the hours of the assigned shift
