Inventory Manager - DLA Guam

The Inventory Manager oversees the inventory operations of Government-owned mission stock. This person will direct employees engaged in conducting DSS inventories, research inventory discrepancies, and document gains and losses through causative research, performing denial research, item data maintenance, and location surveys.  The Inventory Manager is responsible for ensuring the inventory integrity of the Government-owned mission stock meets the Acceptable Performance Levels (APLs) outlined in the contract and plans the use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials based on projected workload on a weekly or monthly basis. This individual will establish deadlines, priorities, and work sequences IAW general work schedules, methods, and policies established by the Site Manager and/or Alternate Site Manager and will redirect workers and resources to accomplish unanticipated work and to accommodate daily workload fluctuations. The Inventory Manager will conduct planning of current and future work schedules, provide workload data, estimates, information on staffing needs, and make recommendations as to the scheduling of projected work, and will ensure work is done properly and efficiently IAW the terms and condition of the contract using DSS and other Government Data Systems to perform the requirements in the PWS.

Requirements:

• SECRET security clearance

• Minimum three (3) years of experience in inventory using DSS or equivalent automated warehouse management systems within the past five (5) years
• Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable security investigation in order to be issued a Common Access Card

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Fluency in English and be able to communicate effectively to include speaking and writing in English
• Ability to be present at work each day and work the hours of the assigned shift
