Human Resources Manager - Fort Gordon
The Human Resources Manager provides administrative and employee service support to all employees. This position will require experience with and/or the ability to work with labor unions to adequately provide necessary support and assistance to employees. This position performs work in support of project management office and service employees that requires a good working knowledge of personnel procedures, guides, and precedents. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Interviewing applicants for open positions and assisting with onboarding and hiring processes
- Managing and maintaining a relationship with labor unions and union representatives
- Adhering to Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) document procedures and guidelines established between contractor and labor union
- Maintain and uphold safety regulations and assist with investigations as required
- Assist with grievance proceedings and serve as support specialist to employees
- Assist with organizational and workforce planning and strategy
- Maintain accurate employment and performance records as required
- Compile data for and submit OSHA and EEO reports as required
- Serve as liaison between job site and corporate office
- Assist with payroll functions and maintain record of absences to include vacation, leave, and sick time
Requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable security investigation in order to be issued a Common Access Card
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Fluency in English and be able to communicate effectively to include speaking and writing in English
- Ability to be present at work each day and work the hours of the assigned shift
