Households Goods Specialist

Description: Perform tasks in connection with shipping goods for the movement of household goods using established guidelines and Electronic Transportation Operational Personal Property Standard System (eTOPS) or Defense Personal Property System (DPS). Tasks include subject matter knowledge and judgment to complete assignments for the movement of personal property. Typical duties involve recordkeeping (manual and electronic), verification of data, compiling information and handling customer complaints, preparing and keeping records of goods shipped, bills of lading, verifying invoices and manifests, storage receipts and checking for damaged goods as applicable.

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable security investigation in order to be issued a Common Access Card
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Fluency in English and be able to communicate effectively to include speaking and writing in English
• Ability to be present at work each day and work the hours of the assigned shift
