Hazardous Material Waste Specialist (Systems Analyst HMMS)

Description: Maintain a Hazardous Material Supply Operations (HMSO) Supply and Storage facility and provide technical assistance and management support for continual hazardous material supply operations throughout the HazMart (HazMat).  Refine and review Hazmat practices, operation of the Enterprise Environmental Safety and Occupational Health Management Information System (EESOH-MIS) software or other Army required interface and system. This work may require consideration of program requirements together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines. Maintain operations in an inspection ready status for environmental, safety and logistics compliance requirements. Tasks include: recordkeeping, database accuracy, zero defects in data and reporting as required.

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable security investigation in order to be issued a Common Access Card
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Fluency in English and be able to communicate effectively to include speaking and writing in English
• Ability to be present at work each day and work the hours of the assigned shift
