About the Position

The Supply Systems Analyst analyzes transactions/data to determine problem area; determine the feasibility of consolidating, eliminating, or expanding interrelated supply systems functions; provides the impact of new/proposed changes to the system/regulations; coordinates with functional users to resolve operational and procedural problems; and researches functional problem area.  Requires knowledge of a broad range of supply program relationships in order to conduct studies, reviews, and investigations.  Thorough knowledge of policies and procedures is required to manage and control material through the receipt, storage, warehousing, issue, packing, and/or transportation functions.  Performs as the WMS POC to serve as the focal point for the Government in receiving communication and responding to information pertaining to WMS; performs WMS-MIS functions IAW C-5.1.3.2 WMS-MIS; and serves as the QMF query writer to write new queries as required.  Uses WMS and other Government Data Systems.  The Supply Systems Analyst reports to the Warehouse Supervisor, Quality Control Specialist, and management.

Responsibilities

• Understand and meet established productivity and quality control goals associated with assigned functional area / process.
• Supervise Stock Clerk, and Supply Clerk
• Follow established guidelines in performing day-to-day routine tasks as outlined in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)/Job Breakdown sheets (JBS), Technical Manuals, and Audit Readiness standards.
• Adhere to Government and Company policies and procedures.
• Ability to use e-mail to receive and disseminate workload tasks and information.
• Ability to communicate in a professional manner with co-workers, site management and CGA regarding operations and policies at the Distribution Center.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned in association with established Management and Contract Compliance Plan, Storage Plan, and workload requirements.

Prerequisites

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• S. Citizen
• Valid Driver's License
• Fluent speaking, writing, and reading in English

Proclivities

• Military or DLA Distribution experience
