PrimeTech International, Inc (PTi) is seeking an experienced, achievement-oriented Business Development Manager to lead and increase Government sales through capture planning, proposal response, client relationships, and contract acquisitions.  A successful candidate will be a dedicated self-starter who can successfully find and promote PTi offerings and solutions; and win competitive government ventures.  

Duties

  • Identify and present areas of opportunities through capture planning.
  • Assist in facilitating and developing the proposal process, responding to IAW, RFPs/RFQs, sources sought, and other applicable notices and coordinate proposal activities.  
  • Act as primary POC for Government bid opportunities.
  • Develop potential and current client relationships by understanding the mission, strategy, and key issues of the client to best determine PTi offerings and solutions. 
  • Develop technical and past performance content for bid insertion.
  • Collaborate staffing solutions and pricing components for proposals.
  • Coordinate and facilitate contract negotiations and client presentations, as necessary.
  • Participate in phase-in/transition activities in accordance with contract requirements and bid proposals.
  • Support customer relations and attend contract meetings, as applicable.
  • Participate in PTi sponsored events, including client, employee, and subcontractor relations.
  • Coordinate team of technical experts to assist in bid development and work with Subject Matter Experts, consultants, and subcontractor teams.
  • Manage current IDIQ contracts and requirements as well as seek additional IDIQ Contract Vehicle opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Executive Management for final pricing and staffing proposals.
  • Attend Site Visits and Industry Days, as related to targeted opportunities.
  • Track and report on the status of all proposal components.
  • Establish and maintain on-going client relationships with various parties to anticipate and resolve potential problems.
  • Participate in activities needed to support the management functions of the team.
  • Brief the President and Program team on status of opportunities and bids.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Prerequisites

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, communications, business or other related discipline.
    or
  • Minimum of seven (7) years related experience in business development and project management. Must have experience supporting the development of at least 15 proposals to commercial and non-commercial sponsors.
    or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
  • Excellent overall business acumen.
  • Articulate and disciplined.
  • Perform market research to identify customer trends, competition, etc.
  • Knowledgeable in Small Business programs, including 8(a).
  • Experience using GSA schedule.
  • Superior collaboration skills.
  • Must be willing and able to take initiative in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Must be able to determine point of contact in order to be successful.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Ability to write technical content and act as subject matter expert in logistics opportunities.
  • Ability to maintain and sustain a favorable security investigation in order to be issued a SECRET level clearance.
  • Ability to liaise with other company professionals to include client, PTi executives, and account managers.  
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, and other proposal programs/tools.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Fluency in English and be able to communicate effectively, to include speaking and writing in English.
  • Foreign travel experience preferred with a willingness to travel stateside or OCONUS
  • Travel expected 25% minimum and potentially up to 50%.

Proclivities

  • Military experience encouraged.
  • Government contract experience preferred.
  • Book of government/military contacts.
