Administrative Assistant

In addition to secretarial duties (filing, taking phone calls, scheduling appointments, making travel arrangements), this position will provide administrative support to executive staff with office management responsibilities to include budgeting, personnel records and payroll. The Administrative Assistant may be required to work independently on projects requiring research and preparation of briefing charts and other presentation materials.

Duties:

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Perform budgeting and invoicing responsibilities, as required
  • Schedule appointments and organize correspondence
  • Provide travel arrangements and support to project manager and project management staff
  • Maintain records of receipts, personnel records, budgeting and payroll, as necessary
  • Coordinate and organize the development of required reporting
  • Prepare briefing charts and materials

Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable security investigation in order to be issued a Common Access Card
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Fluency in English and be able to communicate effectively to include speaking and writing in English
  • Ability to be present at work each day and work the hours of the assigned shift
