Job Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor will be the contractor's overall on-site warehouse manager and coordinator for all tasks, activities, and issues relating to the warehouse operations under this contract. The Warehouse Supervisor shall be an employee of the prime contractor. The Warehouse Supervisor's functions include: maintaining property records, tracking acquisition and disposition records; shipping and receiving records, managing the warehouse employees, and responsibility for the overall operation of the warehouse, including operations and maintenance issues. The Warehouse Supervisor must be able to identify significant warehouse operations and labor support services issues as they relate to contract performance, formulate strategies to properly address those issues and establish priorities for their effective resolution.


Essential Functions:

  • Maintaining property records, tracking acquisition and disposition records; shipping and receiving records, managing the warehouse employees, and responsibility for the overall operation of the warehouse, including operations and maintenance issues.
  • Must be able to identify significant warehouse operations and labor support services issues as they relate to contract performance, formulate strategies to properly address those issues and establish priorities for their effective resolution.
  • Responsible for timeliness of required reports and completion of all work requests.

  • Possess and apply the knowledge and skills required to plan, control, manage, and successfully complete the work
  • Problem solving, decision making, data interpretation, and organization
  • Practices physical security and commitment to safety practices
  • Understand and meet established productivity and quality control goals associated with assigned functional area / process
  • Follow established guidelines in performing day-to-day routine tasks as outlined in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Technical Manuals, and Audit Readiness standards, etc.
  • Understand the Acceptable Performance Levels (APL's) associated with assigned functional work areas / process and work expeditiously to meet contractual and team goals
  • Adhere to government, contract, and company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to use e-mail to receive and disseminate workload tasks and information
  • May work after regular hours of operation to minimize disruption of client services
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned in association with established Management and Contract Compliance Plan, and workload requirements, etc.
  • Supports PTi's safety, environmental, and security programs, and other Company certifications and initiatives responsible for core and support processes within the Quality Management Systems. Key roles may include, process or workflow creating, updating, communicating changes, training and performance reporting, and compliance

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience managing/supervising large complex organizations/departments.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supervising personnel and overseeing warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and excessing property, for warehouse operations similar in size, scope, and complexity to this requirement.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience using electronic messaging media/e-mail and asset management software, MS Office, and Excel.
  • Skill in creating and managing property records using this software, including the ability to save records securely, create PDF documents, and store and manage electronic records, is required.

Skills:

  • Skilled in written and oral presentations
  • Familiarity with and the ability to implement and manage an ISO/Quality management system and safety program as appropriate for the site
  • Must demonstrate the ability to effectively read and write in English, and comprehend written instructions, perform common mathematical tasks, and communicate effectively.
  • Attention to detail and excellent follow up skills

Certificate, License, Registration, etc.:

  • Active SECRET security clearance, or
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance applicable to the position and/or military Common Access Card (CAC) within 30 days if required
  • Completion of company mandated training applicable to position
  • Possess a valid Driver's License

Education

  • HS Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

  • Military experience
